Through multiple programs, CFS has a proven track record of supporting high-profile customers and programs with rapid solutions and services. Here are some of the stories of our successful relationships.
CFS trained Air Traffic Controllers to guide tens of thousands of aircraft safely and expeditiously through the world’s largest and busiest airspace – daily. Two-hundred thirty-three Chenega employees conducted classroom and simulation air traffic controller training for the FAA’s Central Region spanning seven Air Route Traffic Control Centers.
CFS powered USSOUTHCOM’s mission providing intelligence collection, linguist support, and IT architecture design and implementation, and was recognized for the excellent support provided across a number of very difficult and unpredictable mission efforts including the relief effort in Haiti and the ongoing war against terror operations in JTF Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. CFS performed translation services in 12 languages producing approximately 4,000 translated documents and media items, and over 1,500 simultaneous interpretations.
CFS provided engineering and logistic support services to the Project Manager, Airborne Reconnaissance and Exploitation Systems (PM-ARES). Our support furthered the overall mission goals to provide warfighters with the capability for tactically relevant airborne Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition/ Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (RSTA/ISR) collection, processing, and dissemination through sensor development, integration, testing, and performance evaluation. Additionally, CFS delivered test and engineering to systems such as Program of Record (POR) systems, Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Sensor System (EMARSS), Guardrail Common Sensor (GR/CS), Tactical SIGINT Payload (TSP), Airborne Reconnaissance Low (ARL) and various Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) and non-Program of Record systems, such as Airborne Reconnaissance Multi-sensor System (ARMS), Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Sensor Systems (MARSS), Constant Hawk (CH) and Highlighter.
CFS supported the IT needs of IA’s approximately 5,000 government workforce, 20 Education Line Offices, and 64 Bureau of Indian Education schools across the nation. We ran a 24/7/365 help desk from multiple locations to ensure IA IT infrastructure maintained agency readiness at all times while also providing network maintenance and administration, video telecommunications conferencing (VTC) support, and general systems administration and engineering.
CFS supported the U.S. Marine Corps by providing a full range of engineering, analytical, technical, and business services all aimed at supporting the overall Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) experimentation mission of the MCWL. Our staff delivered liaison support to forces deployed globally, integration support to aid in the synthesis of emerging TTPs, and experimental Synthesis and Technologies (S&T) support consisting of the documentation and distribution of experimentation or X-files and the first USMC S&T Strategic Plan. CFS produced 86 X-Files, nine booklet-sized syllabus support documents, and 11 experiment reports for the MCWL.
From 2015-2017, Chenega instructor pilots delivered over 32,000 training events to support Air Force mission crews proficient in their combat skills.
Thought leadership and best practices begin at the top of any organization, and CFS is no exception. We believe that retaining a world-class workforce relies on leadership that is visionary, innovative, competitive, progressive, and ethical.
