On July 16th, 2024, Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) and Astraeus Operations (AO) leadership gathered at MIOS HQ in Lorton, VA, for their annual offsite to bring everyone together to collaborate, discuss business and operational goals in the upcoming fiscal year, and to build team morale between new and old team members.
“We plan on continuing to host more offsites moving forward. I think it’s a great opportunity to get everyone on the same page. Our aim this year was to focus on critical program needs. Our PMO/PM team members were encouraged to ask questions. We invited various MIOS functional area leads to be present to help our team with any inquiries they may have had. This year was a success; we were able to discuss pending inquiries and get the answers we needed,” stated President of CABS & AO, Sonia Mundra.
With Monday and Wednesday being travel days, Tuesday had a full schedule to ensure each team member had a chance to present.
“We had very productive meetings with our PMO/PM team members,” said William Benning, CABS Director of Operations.“Our team has worked extensively to meet business and operational program requirements. This offsite was intended to bring all our teams together to address strategy while being intentional with pending action items. Being in Lorton this week was an excellent atmosphere for all of us to be together!”
On Tuesday afternoon, some of the CABS & AO team members decided to step out of the office and bond over their competitive natures at Top Golf. The team had a great time challenging one another and the opportunity to spend time together without the pressures of work responsibilities. All in all, seeing each other face-to-face once again increased morale among all attending members!
