Azalea Charities’ Aid for Wounded Warriors to Dissolve After 22 Years

It is with heavy hearts that Chenega MIOS announces the closing of Azalea Charities, the main charity MIOS has taken pride in supporting over the last 14 years. Founded by Frank Lasch Sr., Azalea Charities is a Prince William County-based nonprofit that provided over $5 million in aid to wounded warriors and youth and special needs projects through the years.

Azalea is a volunteer-led organization, dedicated to giving back to those who have already given so much for our country. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to donate over $700,000 to this extremely worthy organization through the years, having hosted our annual invitational to raise funds specifically for their Aid for Wounded Warriors cause, and look forward to supporting other veteran organizations in the future.
