Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) is proud to announce its award of a 5-year contract with the United States Air Force (USAF) for Weather Operations Program Management Support at Langley Air Force Base (AFB) in Hampton, VA. CABS will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing tactical and operational-level unit programs to monitor and evaluate the performance and accuracy of weather products and services.
The CABS team will collect and analyze Weather Watch, Warning and Advisory Verification, Terminal Aerodrome Forecast Verification, Operational Verification, Graphical Weather Prediction Verification, and Model Prediction Verification metrics for Air Combat Command (ACC) weather organizations. They will use all of the data they collect to monitor, analyze, and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of tactical-, operational-, and strategic-level weather operations. CABS will also create program modifications to implement automated methods to assist in collecting and analyzing technical health data for ACC.
The contract commenced on August 1, 2020. CABS is excited to be assisting in the USAF goals of automating efforts and looks forward to its work at Langley AFB.
