Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) would like to recognize Rebecca Burns, Word Processor III, who works on their contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)’s Emergency Management Institute in Emmitsburg, MD. FEMA personnel commented,
“Time and time again, Rebecca has gone above and beyond in her efforts to support mission-support initiatives. Rebecca provided valuable support during the Region 8 Forum by acquiring knowledge while providing compliance operations assistance. Her agility to adapt to FEMA’s current workforce ambitions has led to her success in revamping Region 8 reporting. Rebecca is an instrumental member of our team, deserving of many commendations she is eligible to receive.”
For Rebecca, getting to meet and collaborate with new people is the best part of it all. When asked to share the most valuable lesson she has learned in her current position, she replied, “Everyone brings something different to the table. Focus on your strengths when working in a team. Don’t stress too much-the show will go on. Communication is key.”
As a life-long Marylander, Rebecca spends her free time playing softball, watching football, and tackling D.I.Y art projects. She’s the proud owner of a Yorkie-Poo named Dasher and loves mint chocolate chip ice cream!
Rebecca Burns has made a lasting impact on current CABS mission support initiatives across the industry. The CABS team stands behind Rebecca’s efforts to aspire while adapting to work with others on modern workforce advances.
