CABS Recognizes Secretary of Defense Employee Alexis Alexander

Alexis Alexander, an Administrative Specialist supporting the Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) Office Force Resiliency contract serving the Secretary of Defense, is recognized for her outstanding drive and work ethic.

She has been part of the CABS team for almost a year and looks forward to many more years of collaboration; “I’m very fond of my current role! My daily duties as an Administrative Specialist involve handling urgent matters efficiently. My favorite part of my job is working in a collaborative environment that allows me to enhance my communication skills with my team and clients.” Alexis mentioned her most recent applications assignment: “Most recently, I’ve been tasked with reviewing applications while ensuring accuracy and compliance. I’ve newly noticed the level of detail my role requires. Being responsible for application processes and their operations has taught me the value of my role! I’m quite proud of myself thus far. A valuable lesson I’ve learned since beginning my journey with CABS is to take your time. Mistakes will happen; ask questions, and directly communicate with your team on project progress.”

Alexis is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration (MBA); “I can recognize that this role has been pivotal in enhancing my leadership and project management skills. My academic goals and the current role will ultimately position me in a project management role one day.” When asked who helps her remain focused and driven, she said it’s her mother; “My mother is my biggest motivation to work hard and achieve my goals. She’s instilled great values in me, making me a strong, independent woman who pursues whatever her heart desires!”

The CABS team is looking forward to seeing what else Alexis accomplishes! Her colleagues and direct Program Manager are impressed by her growth and will continue to support her career aspirations in the future. Thank you, Alexis, for your vibrant energy and driven effort to improve administrative and operational processes.
