Proven Performance
Here are just a few standout case studies and stats we’re proud to present. Because in the end, if it doesn’t drive results, it doesn’t really matter.
EPA e-Manifest
Chenega team members are responsible for capturing and validating electronic images of Hazardous Waste Manifest Forms for the EPA Paper Processing Center. The process involves electronic retrieval of uploaded manifests, reviewing manifests, entering manifest data, correcting/resolving issues, and validating and releasing manifest documents into an Electronic Document Management (EDMS) repository. There have been numerous benefits from transitioning from hard copies to electric copies, including cost savings for the hazardous waste industry, improved information timelines on waste shipments, rapid notification on discrepancies and other problems, a single hub for one-stop reporting for states and the public, and nationwide real-time access for EPA and state regulators.
DHA Records Management Support
Chenega team members supported DHA’s electronic and paper records retention program in 180 offices across the U.S. to ensure that office hardcopy and electronic records are compliant with current National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) policies and laws and best practices. Our records custodian staff conducted annual site visits to both CONUS and OCONUS offices. During site visits, we observed and reviewed records management processes, including document scanning; record transfer, relocation, and delivery; and document destruction. We tracked any findings and recommendations through an internal database. Identified deficiencies were worked with program offices to ensure that corrective actions were completed in advance of the Annual Statement of Assurance, which is provided to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel & Readiness.
