Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is proud to spotlight new employee, Stella Wristberg, for the incredible impact she has made on the team in just two short months. Stella is the Lead Cybersecurity Analyst on the CARS contract for the Department of Education’s Office of Inspector General (OIG). In Stella’s role, she reviews and edits draft security artifacts to ensure compliance with the Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A), the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), and the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) requirements. This requires meticulous assessment and overview, a challenge that only motivates Stella. Once reviewed, Stella manages the tracking of SA&A requirements within the agency and validates that the tasks are accurate and on schedule, ensuring the delivery of quality documentation. Her favorite part about her role is participating in meetings with the clients and recommending information assurance and security solutions to support the customer’s needs.
Stella has an impressive resume that she built long before joining CARS. Previously, she held supervisor and technical positions as a contractor for agencies like the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the National Institute of Health (NIH), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), further proving why she’s an expert in her current position. Originally from Ghana, Stella holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana and a Master’s Degree in Economics from Old Dominion University in VA. She is also certified in the Computing Technology Industry Association’s (CompTIA) Security+ program and is an International Information System Security Certification Consortium’s (ISC)² Certified Authorization Professional.
Stella is a proud mom to three sons and enjoys being at home baking, cooking, or watching Netflix with them to unwind after a long day of work. She has always looked up to her mom as an inspiration and motivator to keep her going as both an employee and a mother. In Stella’s words, “She’s the most hardworking, loving, and kind person I know.”
CARS appreciates having such a well-rounded, experienced, and driven member on its team and looks forward to seeing all the fantastic things that Stella will accomplish in her career with Chenega. Thank you for all that you do, Stella!
