Chenega Defense and Aerospace Solutions (CDAS) is proud to spotlight Steven Freitag, a Computer Operator III who has been with the company for 1.5 years. Steven’s role involves assisting customers with computer issues, installing software, prepping systems for deployment, and troubleshooting larger problems. He thrives on helping others optimize their use of technology, assisting with testing initiatives, and solving complex challenges.
Jay Hawkins, Lead Network Engineer, says, “Steven has become such a shining star in our team, continually demonstrating a work ethic of professionalism and tenacity.” He adds, “We could only hope that his future goals include remaining here, helping us support those who serve to defend our country.”
Outside of work, Steven focuses on personal growth. His proudest achievements include completing a 10-mile run and maintaining sobriety, which he credits for transforming his life. To unwind, he enjoys running, hiking, and reading. Inspired by figures like Bruce Lee and David Goggins, Steven is outgoing, hardworking, and family-focused.
