CDS/ADEPT Force Group Team Enjoys a Much Deserved Day Out

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]On Saturday, April 30, 2022, the Chenega Decision Sciences (CDS)/ADEPT Force Group Army Accessions Information Environment (AIE) team in Northern Virginia gathered at Quattro Goombas in Aldie, VA. They enjoyed the spring weather, unwound, and celebrated another successful year for their program supporting the Product Directorate Army Human Resource Systems (PD AHRS). The team spent their day eating great food, playing corn hole, and relaxing in their lawn chairs while catching up with colleagues. AIE, which is currently working towards the delivery of initial capability, is a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS)-based system of numerous applications integrated and configured to provide the Army’s strength through its four missions:

  1. Enlist Soldiers
  2. Commission Officers
  3. Fulfill In-Service Requirements
  4. Support and Sustain

The primary AIE users are the United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC), United States Army Cadet Command (USACC), the Center for Initial Military Training (CIMT), and the United States Army National Guard (ARNG). The CDS/ADEPT Force Group team provides acquisition and engineering support.

“This team is the most mission-focused, success-driven team with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working. They consistently meet challenging situations with professionalism and steadfastness. In fact, our AIE Program Officer has told me on numerous occasions that she looks to our team for program guidance assistance and appreciates everyone’s consistent dedication, hard work, and quality products.” – says AIE Program Manager Rita Bartholomew. “I think my favorite part of the day was seeing smiles and hearing laughter among the team – just pure enjoyment. The day flew by as we began festivities at noon and closed Goombas down at 6 pm. Everyone is already looking forward to another event.”

It was a much-needed and deserved day away for all who attended, and we so appreciate Rita taking the time to celebrate her team. Through hard work operating as a single-unit and team events such as this one, Rita describes her team as having become a family. We hope everyone had a great time!
