To be considered, the Military Friendly® looks at the policies, processes, resources, and investments that have the greatest impact on career opportunities and advancement for military spouses. The Military Spouse Friendly Employers® survey takes a detailed look at the lifecycle of military spouse employees: what employers do to attract, hire, and develop them; as well as the policies and practices with which employers support them along the way.
The Military Friendly® ratings are based on 6 different categories: Hiring and Onboarding, Opportunity & Advancement, Culture & Commitment, Support & Retention, Policies & Compliance, and Recruiting & Sourcing. Of the six, Chenega Corporation exceeded standards by at least 20% in each category.
