On November 2, 2023, Chenega MIOS hosted two highly anticipated events at Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge, VA, all to support our Nation’s veterans ahead of Veterans Day. Through the day’s events, MIOS is extremely proud to have raised over $10,000 to be donated to Vigilant Torch Association (VTA), a charity that gives back to the Special Operations Community and their families in their greatest times of need.
The day kicked off with the Fall MIOS Invitational, an exclusive golf tournament aimed at giving our subsidiaries and employees the opportunity to have a casual day out on the course to network and bond with partners, coworkers, and other loyal MIOS supporters alike. Following the round, we invited the local community to join us at the clubhouse for Brews for the Brave. At Brews for the Brave, five breweries from the surrounding area generously donated their time to serve two tastings of their top beers. In addition to beer tastings, Brews for the Brave featured light hor d’oeuvres and great company, while Radio NV Music kept the crowd entertained through their impressive vocals and instrumentals. To close down the night, Chenega MIOS was grateful to host our most successful raffle to date, with competition like no other. With thousands of tickets entered and only six winners, it was surely a nail-biter to see who would win our Restaurant Gift Basket, Commanders signed football and gear, signed Washington Mystics basketball and Washington Wizards tickets, Washington Capitals suite tickets, a guitar signed by Blink 182, Puris, Strumbellas, Bear Hands, Cold War Kids, and Joy Wave, and our grand prize of eight tickets in a fully catered suite to Zach Bryan!
