Chenega MIOS would like to congratulate Kristal Mungo on her promotion to Director of Purchasing. In this new role, Kristal now assists in the development of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) strategic plan to support Chenega MIOS as a whole. She is responsible for the purchasing department’s continuous process improvement, which assists in moving MIOS to a Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level 5 of Capability and Performance.
“Kristal has demonstrated superb dedication, attention to detail, and responsiveness in an extremely fast-paced and volume-driven purchasing environment while taking the reins and driving continuous process improvement in that arena,” says Mike Buggs, Chief Operating Officer of MIOS. She is extremely deserving of this promotion, and we can’t wait to see the huge impact Kristal makes as Director of Purchasing.
Kristal started with Chenega MIOS nine years ago and has been with Chenega Corporation for 11 years. She enjoys photography, walking her dogs, and spending time with her family and friends.
