Chenega Spotlights CITES Christion Ward

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Christion Ward, Operations Analyst for Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES), recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary with Chenega. Starting as an Administrative Intern in 2009, Christion quickly earned not only the respect of his peers, but also a spot on Executives’ radars, who saw a great deal of potential in him. Then VP of Contracts, Yohan Gipson, offered Christion an opportunity in MIOS Contracts in 2016, and then in 2018 after seeing the endless ways Christion continually proved himself, CITES President, Mike Owens, brought Christion on to his team. He has since quietly and humbly made an immense impact on the company. “Christion is an invaluable asset to the CITES PMO team. He’s an all around great man: a great father, a great teammate, a great leader. We are so lucky to have him,” says CITES Sr. Director of Operations, Jeffrey Sallee.

In September 2019, Christion and his wife (whom he met at Chenega in 2010), welcomed their first child, Malakhi Lee Ward. In their spare time, they are active members at their local church, being youth leaders to the middle and high schoolers in the area. They also love traveling and have visited a whopping 10 countries in the last 5 years of marriage.

Thank you for all that you do for CITES, Christion.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”5756″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
