Chenega Systems Bids a Fond Farewell to Benny Winslow

Chenega Systems held a retirement party for 15-year employee Benny Winslow on June 23rd, 2021.

Benny started his career with Chenega Federal Systems in November 2006 as a Training Analyst in Kings Bay, GA, and maintained the Navy’s Personnel and Training Evaluation Program (PTEP) for the Navigation Electronics Technicians. He conducted workshops for the Fleet on the program and evaluated the Navigation Training from the PTEP exams.

In May of 2011, he was promoted to the lead site representative at the Trident Training Facility. His responsibilities included the maintenance and support of the training classrooms and simulator rooms. He operated as a liaison between the local Navy, Strategic Systems Programs, and company personnel.

Benny is a people person and did an excellent job working between the various organizations that make up the group that is SP205, government, military, and civilian contractors.

He is known for his love of BBQ and football on top of his exemplary work and keeping a smile on everyone’s face. Everyone has heard him ask, “Where’s my lunch money?” followed by his laugh emanating throughout the building.

So long, Benny! Your sense of humor and unmatchable work ethic will be missed. Thank you for everything you have done for Chenega MIOS over the past 15 years.
