The Challenge

The 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base needed an update in their infrastructure, equipment, supplies, and management services. Chenega Systems (CS) is tasked with providing a ready-to-use software environment services solution to enable Agile and Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) software development.

Chenega Solution

Chenega Systems provides an open and flexible space for developers to conduct software development, all management services, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to operate and manage a software environment for up to 50 people (estimated 6700 Sq. Ft. space).

• Modernization as a Service (MaaS): Chenega Systems provides a modernization environment solution for up to 50 personnel. This includes all hardware, software, network, and communication services within.
• CS provides a wide range of IT services, including installing & configuring computer systems, troubleshooting, diagnosing, solving network & service issues, resolving computer hardware & software operating system problems, and technical & application problems. CS’s IT support personnel has the expertise, certifications, skills, and abilities to maintain all aspects of the IT environment and to resolve service issues in a timely manner to prevent unscheduled downtime.
• CS’s engineers have experience in standing up, maintaining, and developing using current Development Operations (DevOps) / DevSecOps tools.
• CS is responsible for the full range of management activities for all utilities and services to include, but not limited to maintenance, repairs, pest management, custodial services, and trash removal. CS safeguards all property for the Government. CS maintains a listing of individuals authorized to access the software environment that has been approved in writing by the Government PM.

CS provides a software environment management solution where new and existing software workloads are unencumbered by infrastructure, tool limitations, and restrictive communication networks. Our innovative software environment solution has helped our customers by providing an open and flexible space for developers to conduct software development activities efficiently and effectively in order to sustain their day to day operations.
