Chief of Staff, Charles Q. Brown, Jr. Visits CAS Project at Kessel Run

An exciting guest visited the Chenega Applied Solutions (CAS) Kessel Run (KR) team on February 16, 2021. Charles Q. Brown, Jr., Air Force (AF) Chief of Staff General, joined the KR headquarters in Boston, MA, to tour the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Detachment 12.

CAS began work at KR in 2018 by providing Software Enterprise Management Services (SEMS) to support the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center. This contract includes providing all facility, infrastructure, personnel, equipment, supplies, and managed services for a scalable turnkey SEMS solution for authorized Government representatives, products, and software development teams which consist of military, government civilians, and contractor personnel.

CAS then began another contract at KR, also in 2018, this time to support the USAF Material Command. CAS provides five UX Designers to transform legacy applications into cloud-native applications that will reside on a Platform as a Service (PaaS) in order to establish a lean, user-centered approach that will ultimately redefine how software capability is delivered to the Air Force warfighter.
