Chronos Operations Awarded Contract to Support Defense Acquisition University’s Training Mission

Chronos Operations (CO) has been awarded a contract to support the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) in enhancing and managing its training programs for the U.S. military, civilian defense professionals, and global partners. This partnership will help the DAU keep its educational tools, resources, and delivery mechanisms modern, effective, and aligned with evolving defense needs.

Located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, the DAU plays a vital role in training over 150,000 military and civilian personnel in acquisition roles across the Department of Defense (DoD). DAU’s mission is to create a global learning space that helps train professionals in acquisition, planning, and support to effectively and affordably provide the military with the necessary tools to succeed. The University offers a wide range of training products and services through campuses across the country as well as a strong online platform. DAU’s educational resources are also used by professionals across the federal government, the defense industry, and international acquisition teams.

CO will deliver learning asset lifecycle sustainment services—from initial development through independent verification and validation (IV&V), deployment, maintenance, and eventual retirement of training assets. The contract also includes support for data collection and analysis to inform and improve training capabilities. This work will ensure DAU continues to meet the training and performance support needs of the acquisition workforce.

This contract represents a vital step in ensuring that the DAU’s training programs are adaptable, accessible, and aligned with current defense and acquisition trends. Chronos is honored to contribute to this mission, playing a role in strengthening the capabilities of the U.S. military and its global defense community.
