We are thrilled to announce that on August 27th, Chronos Operations (CO) was awarded a key subcontract with the Business Innovation Services Department (BISD). This subcontract supports BISD’s Information Technology (IT) Program and Project Management initiatives, focusing on Agile IT Modernization capabilities. The BISD is one of three Office of Information Technology (OIT) departments that provides essential IT and electronic communication services to the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), part of the Department of Labor.
This subcontract aims to provide highly qualified personnel to support projects requiring Agile Transformation Support. Chronos Operations will play a crucial role in bringing together people, processes, technology, and tools to enhance the Corporate Management Services Division (CMSD), Financial Management Services Division (FMSD), Participant Management Services Division (PMSD), and Shared Business Services Division (SBSD) in their agile adoption and delivery of mission-critical IT modernization efforts.
Personnel assigned to this contract will manage the completion of specific projects through ongoing agile sprints, working from a prioritized backlog of efforts. The priorities in this backlog will evolve based on legislative mandates, agency needs, CIO directives, and the adoption of emerging technologies and IT practices. This flexible, adaptive approach ensures that each sprint focuses on the most critical and high-impact IT modernization initiatives.
