Chronos Operations (CO) extends a heartfelt congratulations to Delinda Price, a valued member of the team, on her upcoming retirement.
Delinda has been an integral part of the Chenega family for 16 years, contributing to multiple contracts. Initially, she contributed to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, supporting the IT Helpdesk, and more recently, she worked with the Senate Sergeant at Arms on the IT installation team. One of her most notable achievements was the development of procedures for creating information labels for new IT devices and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for handling YubiKeys.
When reflecting on her time with the team, Delinda fondly recalled her experience at the United States Senate: “Working at the Senate has been an honor, and overall, it has been a memorable experience. Being on-site during the January 6th Capitol attack and working throughout the COVID-19 pandemic are events I will be able to reminisce about in my old age.”
In retirement, Delinda plans to fully embrace the hobbies and projects that her busy career left little time for. “I enjoy sewing and making 18th-century gowns. I also have several personal projects, including painting a dresser and crafting clay candlestick holders. My son also has plans for me to create artwork for his video game.”
Delinda would like to express her gratitude to Walter Williams, Chenega Technical Innovations (CTI), for the friendship and inspiration he has provided over the years. As advice to the younger generation, she offers: “Say yes. Be willing to do more than what is asked. Take chances.”
We sincerely thank Delinda for her exceptional contributions and dedication throughout her time with Chenega and Chronos Operations. Congratulations, Delinda—we wish you all the best as you embark on this exciting new chapter of your life!
