CITES and the TDM-Catalyst Team Continue with Impressive Award Streak

Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) and the rest of the Logistics Integrated Information Systems’ (LI2S) Logistics Digital Transformation (LDT) team is extremely proud of their fine work that has received yet another award through their mission-critical work on the Technical Data Management (TDM) Catalyst program. This time, in recognition of their outstanding work, the US Marine Corps was presented with the Appian Innovation Award, an award that is granted to “recognize an individual or team whose innovation has disrupted their respective market and served as a “catalyst” for a new standard in how their work is done.” The solutions created for the Marine Corps have reduced transaction times between acquisition activities and logistics sustainment processes required to support the lifecycle management of weapon systems and equipment from 6-8 months to 1-2 days. This allows the Marine Corps to benefit from utilizing clean, accurate, validated, and auto-updated data.

“The Marine Corps broke new ground with this initiative. TDM-Catalyst was one of the first Corps programs to adopt an agile software development methodology and is one of the Corps first cloud data programs,” said Ray Wulff, Industry Lead of Global Defense and Intelligence Programs for Appian Corporation.

This team continues to strive and break barriers, creating a more seamless transition for the Marine Corps into a modernized and automated system. Just recently, the TDM-Catalyst team received a Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer (DON CIO) 2022 DON IT Excellence Innovate Award, further proving the impact being made.
