Chenega IT Enterprise Services, LLC (CITES) was awarded a prime contract by U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) to provide Information Management Information Technology (IMIT) Support Services on July 17th.
CITES will provide information management and information technology services to support all aspects of the U.S. Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC) mission. Support will include Tier II Help-desk, database administration, SharePoint administration, systems administration, and network administration support. CITES’s services will provide necessary support across the various facets of AMLC.
The U.S. AMLC is the Army’s newest 1-star command developed to project and sustain medical material capabilities and data for the Army and joint force. A major subordinate command of Army Materiel Command, Army Medical Logistics Command reached initial operational capability June 1 and is expected to be fully operational Oct. 1.
