CITES Awarded TCM-A AISR Systems and Sensors Capabilities and Requirements Development Support Contract

On September 6th, 2019 the Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground awarded Chenega IT Enterprise Services, LLC (CITES) the United States Army Training Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Intelligence Center of Excellence (ICoE), TRADOC Capability Manager Aerial (TCM-A), Aerial Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR) Systems and Sensors Capabilities and Requirements Development Support Contract.

TCM Aerial performs as the Army’s centralized manager for all capabilities development and user activities associated with manned and UAS Army Aerial Layer intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) platforms and sensors to include manned AISR aircraft systems, sensors, and AISR sensor payloads for U.S. Army UAS capabilities. CITES shall support TCM Aerial in researching, developing, defining, drafting, documenting, and defending critical manned and UAS AISR system sensor and payload capabilities’ requirements, including support of the TCM responsibilities associated with the acquisition, procurement, testing, fielding, maintenance, and sustainment requirements of potential materiel solutions.

TRADOC Capability Manager Mission Command/Control develops and manages doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities and policy (DOTMLPF-P) solution sets in support of the Army’s MC/CP programs. TCM MC/CP executes this mission by coordinating capabilities and material development activities to ensure all DOTMLPF-P areas are integrated and synchronized to support fielding and operational requirements for the Warfighter.
