On May 6, 2022, Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) gratefully attended the Military Intelligence Corps Association’s (MICA) Fort Huachuca Ball at the Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, AZ, as Knowlton Level Sponsors. Each year, the ball is hosted to recognize and honor the men and women who have served and continue to serve our Nation in the United States Army’s Military Intelligence branch.
The night started with a light cocktail hour, immediately followed by the receiving line and then the “Mess Call,” signaling that it was officially dinner time. CITES had a great time, dressed to the nines, celebrating and being back together in person for such a great event. The theme for this year’s event was “The United States Army – Honoring the Past and Building to the Future.”
The Military Intelligence Corps Association (MICA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that identifies as the premier professional association of the U.S. Army’s Military Intelligence Corps. Its mission is simple: preserving history, educating leaders, honoring professionals, sharing knowledge, and providing supporting award programs to the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corps. MICA members represent the active duty, reserve component, and retired as well as defense contractors and others who support the Military Intelligence mission and are dedicated to ensuring that Army Intelligence remains “Always Out Front!”
The Huachuca Chapter is home to the Military Intelligence branch due to Fort Huachuca being the home of the United States Army Intelligence Center and School, which was established in 1971.
