Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) would like to congratulate a key member of their team, Soctt Knudson on his recent retirement.

Scott joined CITES in May 2022 as an Acquisition Principal on the Army IgnitED contract. Army IgnitED provides a web portal for Soldiers to apply for education benefits. The system determines eligibility and tracks the approval and payment process for tuition assistance, credentialing assistance, and cadet assistance requests.

Scott retired on September 30 and left behind a legacy of hard work and crucial contributions to the program. When asked, his proudest day at CITES was when Army IgnitED received full deployment in September 2023.

His retirement plan consists of playing a lot of golf, but aside from that, Scott will be taking it one day at a time.
