[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) would like to shine a spotlight on Lisa Franklin, a Sr. Financial Analyst for CITES’ Technical Management and Acquisition Support Services (TMASS) contract for the Army. Lisa has been with CITES for nearly two years and has been a key player in the contract that aims to provide a full range of integrated Program Management & Operations, TMASS, and Business Management solutions. These services are necessary to satisfy the Army’s Project Director of Enterprise Services mission of procuring, developing, delivering, and sustaining enterprise-level IT products and services across the Army.
Although Lisa is always an extremely vital asset, she has truly shined through the final, typically more stressful, months of the Department of Defense’s (DoD) fiscal year. The months in the last quarter are particularly busy, full of budgetary and contract activities. Lisa stayed resilient and focused on her tasks at hand, and using the DoD’s Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) system, she expertly completed the submission of the client’s Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23) Spend Plan. This was the first time the CCaR system was used for the spending plan submission, and despite the tight deadline, Lisa successfully completed the complex, week-long budget activity. Additionally, Lisa’s work allowed the client to successfully process and award multiple contract packages and close out their FY22 budgets.
Lisa is an incredible worker and has been an invaluable addition to the CITES team. Lisa states that her family and friends might describe her as, “crazy (in a fun way), athletic, and very outspoken.” We would like to add “selfless” to that list based on her response to her favorite part of her job: “knowing that the work I do makes a difference.” Lisa learned from her mother to always “live your life,” and it is because of her mother and her mother’s life lessons that she stays motivated to continue her hard work. An accomplishment that Lisa is proud of is having put her three daughters through college (certainly no small feat and is an amazing achievement).
Thank you so much, Lisa, for making a difference to the CITES team and the customers who are so lucky to have you![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
