The Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) Strategic Planning and Outreach Team recently planned and executed a successful workshop for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Joint Science and Technology Office (JSTO). The Research Investigations and Scientific Engagement (RISE-24) Workshop was a comprehensive three-day event that brought together nearly 200 registered attendees and over 40 presenters from DTRA JSTO and government laboratories. Maya Williams and her colleagues Erin Furnia, Carla King, and Katrina Finney from the Chenega Conference Team played a pivotal role in coordinating the RISE-24 Workshop. The event required meticulous planning and execution. The CITES team provided logistical support in abstract collection and registration management, presenter coordination, and technical support for the event. Maya’s leadership was instrumental in ensuring its success.

Additionally, Maya played a crucial role in coordinating the participation of partner organizations, fostering collaboration and engagement across stakeholders.
Throughout the workshop, Erin, Carla, and Katrina provided invaluable support, assisting with participant vetting, technical support, and various other tasks. Their contributions contributed to the seamless operation of the virtual event and enhanced the experience for all involved.
