Chenega Systems (CS) was awarded a contract with the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point to provide Enterprise Information Technology Helpdesk support for its Managed Service Provider. CS will augment the on-premise support bridge to provide a more robust, agile, and responsive IT Support Bridge.
The USMA currently has over 10,000 end-users which include students (Cadets and Cadet Candidates), faculty, and staff, who require IT service support during school-sponsored trips, both stateside and abroad at any given time. The USMA is evolving the way they manage IT incidents due to the introduction of new technologies on a new network known as the West Point Research and Education Network.
CS will maintain the incident management process, technology, and staff; provide training to the USMA IT support bridge staff; maintain the knowledge management database; maintain each capability of support desk mobile applications, email, web forms, chat, and phone numbers; daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly incident management and status reports; and handle sustainment, operations, and maintenance of the helpdesk ticketing system.
