Chenega Systems (CS) was awarded a contract with the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base (AFB). CS will provide the supervision, engineering expertise, labor, tools, materials, parts, equipment, and travel to perform construction/renovation of the 40,000 square foot facility located at Robins AFB for the SWEG.
The goal is to create software integration laboratories, software development areas, and classrooms for training to accommodate a minimum of 150 people that will allow SWEG personnel to produce software rapidly on a frequent cadence. CS will incorporate the most efficient and cost-effective approach to accomplish all technical requirements (i.e. simplified details, minimized equipment and material cost, reduced construction timelines).
