Chenega Technical Innovations (CTI) is proud to announce it is now a Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Certified company.
In 2012, Virginia became the first state to create an official program dedicated to improving the employment of Veterans by training employers on national best practices to recruit, hire, train, and retain Veterans. The V3 Program helps employers develop and implement long-term strategies and nationally recognized best practices. CTI is proud to be part of an organization that places value on veterans and strives to make an impact on their lives outside of the military.
CTI is the first Chenega company in the entire corporation to become V3 Certified. To celebrate this achievement, CTI plans to host a small celebration for the certificate presentation when it is safe to do so, at CTI’s office in Chantilly, VA. The certificate presentation will be particularly special because CTI president, Heather Lacroix, is a West Point graduate and Army veteran.
She values the opportunity to serve the mission of our country’s military, defense, and intelligence communities. Heather actively participates in various industry and community organizations, including Final Salute, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports military families and veterans’ rights.
About Virginia Values Veterans
The V3 Program not only aims to educate and train companies on why it is a good business decision to recruit, hire, train, and retain Veterans, but also to help those committed companies meet their hiring goals.
