Cyberstar is proud to highlight Dave Lambrecht for his outstanding performance as a Program Manager. Dave’s exceptional work ethic and team-first mindset have been pivotal in fostering effective collaboration with his team and customers alike.
Joining Cyberstar in February 2021, Dave has quickly become a valuable member of our team. In his role as Program Manager, he oversees a team of 58 professionals dedicated to providing programmatic management support for the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A). His responsibilities include active involvement in daily planning, operations, and platform maintenance. Reflecting on his role, Dave shares, “My favorite part of the job is facilitating the success of my employees. I relish the chance to showcase their contributions to our customers. Early on, I learned that an organization’s greatest asset is its people and that mission accomplishment relies more on their actions than on mine. Consequently, I focus on building cohesive teams that understand their role in supporting the mission and are well-prepared, empowered, and resourced to perform effectively.”
One of Dave’s proudest achievements was his tenure as Executive Officer for the 40th Expeditionary Signal Battalion. During this period, he successfully deployed over 600 personnel to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. The unit not only completed its combat mission but also earned a Meritorious Unit Citation for their efforts, returning home safely after 15 months with no casualties. Dave notes,
“While I can’t take full credit for this success, I believe my commitment to developing our unit’s leaders, training them for combat, and fostering effective teams played a significant role.”
Outside of work, Dave is a passionate Washington Commanders fan who loves attending their games and cheering them on. Recently, he had the exciting opportunity to visit the Washington Commanders’ training camp with his family, as shown in the photos below. Dave also enjoys unwinding by listening to his favorite vinyl records, featuring artists like The Beatles, Bob Marley, and The Rolling Stones. His deep commitment to his family inspires him to be a dedicated father, husband, and role model.
