In his role as Flight Test Director, he leads the planning and execution of hypersonic flight tests, overseeing complex and high‑stakes operations with precision and confidence. His day‑to‑day responsibilities require exceptional technical skill, coordination, and leadership as he guides teams through the intricate processes that ensure mission success. His favorite part of the job is leading a team in the execution of flight tests, where he thrives in high‑pressure environments that demand both clear direction and steady guidance.
One of his most impressive accomplishments occurred last year, when he served as the Flight Test Director for two test execution teams. Despite significant delays, he successfully led both tests to execution within just eight days, using the same launch pad. This unprecedented achievement was a first for the program and showcased his operational excellence, problem-solving skills, and ability to drive results even under challenging circumstances.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, two daughters, two sons‑in‑law, and three grandchildren, with a fourth on the way. He also loves participating in a kayak bass fishing club, where he finds peace, recreation, and the joy of friendly competition.
