At SecuriGence (SG), giving back isn’t a box that’s checked —it’s woven into the fabric of who they are. Whether it’s supporting STEM education, veteran initiatives, or animal welfare, SG believes that real impact starts with real people who care. One cause that’s particularly close to our hearts is the fight against canine cancer.
Since 2017, SecuriGence has proudly supported the Canine Cancer Alliance (CCA)—a nonprofit dedicated to funding research that aims to prevent and cure cancer in dogs. This partnership is deeply personal for the team and dates back to CCA’s founding by Dr. Maeda, a former Project Manager at SecuriGence. Recognizing the potential of her mission, she reached out to the SG Sr. VP of Strategy, Tai Truong, who now serves on CCA’s board.
Over the years, SecuriGence has made significant contributions to the CCA, helping to advance groundbreaking research and the development of new treatments. With cancer remaining the leading cause of death in dogs, the work being done by CCA is not only critical—it’s urgent.
“Supporting the Canine Cancer Alliance (CCA) isn’t only about helping just dogs—it’s about fueling hope, advancing science, and honoring the deep bond we share with our pets. It’s also about bridging the gap for cancer research, which can potentially be a breakthrough to humans as well. Every donation helps fund cutting-edge research, improve treatments, provide comfort care, and bring us closer to a cure for the cancers that affect our beloved companions. If you’ve ever loved a dog or pet, you know how much they give to us every day. This is a chance to give something meaningful back to them.” – Tai Truong
SecuriGence believes in honoring that bond and investing in a healthier future—for all species. Our pets give us unconditional love, loyalty, and joy. Supporting the CCA is one way to give something meaningful back.
