Kapsuun Group (KG) recently graduated from Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s (VEDP) Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. VALET is a two-year exclusive program that only accepts 25 companies per year and has limitedly graduated an estimated 350+ organizations; this month, Kapsuun Group was one of the ten newly graduated companies! The VALET program allows Virginia exporters to reach their desired international sales objectives by supporting their domestic and international exporting operations.
While leveraging capital resources optimized by the Commonwealth, “Kapsuun Group intends to continue building on the foundation developed during the program to focus on export trade growth. Our strategy moving forward will establish economic expansion throughout the state of Virginia,” stated the General Manager of KG, John (JD) Soper. VEDP’s VALET program emphasizes key global export demands among graduated members that align with their already established services in hopes of bolstering their economic expansion.
KG’s Director of Business Development, Tamara Himmelberger, is grateful for the opportunities the program has established for KG thus far, “the VALET program was an excellent experience for us accelerating our international market strategy providing valuable insight, training, and experienced consultants across the globe to assist in driving KG forward through various trade missions and shows.”
VEDP’s backing was a valuable asset that increased KG’s international export reach! KG hopes to continue to grow its exporting strategy globally in the upcoming years.
