Kapsuun Group (KG) is excited to announce the onboarding of nine full-time employees for The Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution – Technical Refresh (NMMES-TR) under the Pilot and Prototyping (P&P) IDIQ contract in Lorton, VA on July 16, 2019! They will be working out of the new KG office in Kingstowne, VA.
The NMMES-TR P&P IDIQ contract enables KG to assist the Government in performing risk reduction activities to ensure the new system will be a modern enterprise solution that is secure, scalable, available, useable, and adaptable. KG will review and analyze Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software and cloud computing technology as well as Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) applications, especially those based on older COTS technology.
NMMES-TR falls under Navy PEO EIS and is a Department of the Navy (DON) Defense Business System (DBS) program implementing a strategic technical refresh of the NMMES IT systems and applications. NMMES consists of the Information Technology (IT) tools used to perform the Navy’s shore-based intermediate and depot maintenance activities for submarines, aircraft carriers, and surface ships.
