Chenega Worldwide Support (CWS) is pleased to announce that Kris Singleton has accepted the role of General Manager. Mr. Singleton joined CWS in October 2024 and brings with him over 20 years of experience.
Mr. Singleton began his career serving in the US Army in the Middle East and Southeast Asia supporting Military Intelligence for over 9 years. His service is a great source of pride, “I gained experiences that make me better in everything I do today,” Mr. Singleton expressed. After he left the Army in 2014, Mr. Singleton went to work as the Chief Executive Officer of Predictive Solutions Engineering, a service-disabled veteran owned small business specializing in physical, electronic, and cybersecurity engineering for more than 10 years. and supported the National Small Business Association for over 6 years. During the last two decades, he has had the opportunity to study leadership, both in theory and through practical leadership in his various positions.
Mr. Singleton spent his first few weeks learning the ‘Chenega Way’, familiarizing himself with CWS and the clients that it supports. He is enjoying learning ways to expand the CWS program portfolio and learning more about the MIOS staff. “Right now, I’m still learning my way around the Chenega/MIOS IT ecosystem, while getting familiar with the programs, Program Managers, employees, and clients that make CWS a continued success,” said Mr. Singleton. “I’m quickly learning how capable the MIOS functional staff is, and I’ve begun to incorporate them into my daily routine, as I lean further forward into Business Development and Operations this month.”
His favorite aspect of his past roles has been the interactions he gets to have with people. “I genuinely love interacting with people, especially when I get to play a part in their success,” remarked Mr. Singleton. “It’s also amazing to interact with those in your charge, particularly when they know that you care about them and that they can trust you and the guidance you give them.” We know he is looking forward to continuing to help his employees and clients succeed in his new role.
Outside of work, Mr. Singleton loves cooking and trying new cuisines from all over the world. In addition, he enjoys golfing and finds it relaxing in the Arizona desert.
Mr. Singleton describes himself as dedicated, outgoing, and independent and what keeps him motivated is his mother. She raised him on her own and he likes to live by the ethics, persistence, and self-reliance his mother instilled in him growing up, which is also reflected in his mother’s favorite saying, “Never give anyone a reason to question your integrity, or the opportunity to doubt your abilities.”
