On August 7, NJVC will exhibit at the Photogrammetry, 3D, and Lidar (P3DL) Community of Practice Conference and Technology Exposition taking place at the NGA Headquarters in Springfield, VA. During the Expo, conference attendees have an opportunity to explore the latest technologies in LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) systems, imaging sensors, geospatial intelligence, applied imagery, 3D mapping, laser light beams, 3D visualization, indoor mapping, autonomous vehicles, and exploitation of data.
P3DL will bring together members from the Intelligence Community (IC), US Government, academia, and private industry for a chance to collaborate on advances and emerging capabilities in the field of LiDAR and 3D point cloud phenomenology. This year’s speakers will focus on topics covering the theme “Understanding a Multi-Dimensional World: Leveraging 3D to Deliver Trusted GEOINT to Defense and Intelligence Partners.” With the open forum structure, the goal for this event is to improve cross-community collaboration and communication and bring together subject matter experts from the IC with the common purpose of advancing the principles of photogrammetry and 3D visualization.
