Congratulations to Michele Rounds on being promoted to Subcontracts Lead I. Michele joined the Procurement team back in April 2016. From that time, she has worked her way through procurement and into subcontracts and has proven herself to be an outstanding member of the subcontracts team.
Michele supports Chenega Applied Solutions (CAS), Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES), and Chenega Decision Sciences (CDS) in conjunction with her team member, Erica Price. Michele trains all of the new hires on the processes and procedures that subcontracts must follow as part of its daily operations, and does so on her volition, all to help her team members. Michele mentors each new hire, including the more junior staff to help bring them up to speed. She played a key role in the development of the subcontract’s SOPs/SMS and continues to play a key role in refining our procedures as we move along and improve our processes. Michele hasn’t missed a beat either during our pandemic working from home status with a rising middle-schooler who attends online classes. She just keeps everyone on our team grounded and is just a pleasure to work with, always willing to help others whenever they need it. We are lucky to have Michele as part of our subcontracts team.
