In a major federal IT modernization milestone, SecuriGence successfully supported the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in replatforming its legacy Sybase databases to Microsoft SQL Server, without requiring code changes to existing applications. This complex migration preserved full application functionality and integration, enabling the FCC to modernize its infrastructure while minimizing risk and disruption.
The project was part of the FCC’s broader cloud transformation, which has been recognized as a model for modernization across government. SecuriGence’s approach—focused on compatibility, continuity, and performance—helped the FCC reduce technical debt, improve scalability, and maintain operational integrity throughout the transition.
