Chenega Decision Sciences (CDS) would like to spotlight Cierra Hardin for her tireless work and significant contributions to her team.
Cierra joined Chenega MIOS in 2014 as a Senior Business Development Intelligence Analyst (BDIA), supporting tactical and the strategic objectives for the subsidiary companies operating under the MIOS Strategic Business Unit (SBU) while playing a vital role on proposal support teams. During her six years with MIOS, Cierra has worked closely with several Chenega companies conducting successful capture campaigns in pursuit of DoD and Civilian agency opportunities, identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strategic relations, and diversifying business portfolios. In October 2020, Cierra was promoted to CDS’ Operations and Strategic Development Manager, focusing her efforts on organizational effectiveness by providing program and business leadership as well as managing business development and growth of the company. Cierra continues to be an integral piece of several multi-million dollar proposal wins and serves as a highly motivated and forward-thinking professional.
Cierra is recognized as an outstanding advocate for the team and considered by colleagues to be an excellent role model. “Cierra is a force of nature. Strategic development for two companies isn’t enough for her, so she runs CDS Operations as well. She just received her PMP certification on her first try, which is just something she did in her spare time, proving her work ethic. Cierra personifies exactly the kind of professional we seek to hire and grow. Well done Cierra,” says Mike Owens, President of CITES and General Manager for CDS.
As stated, Cierra just received her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute in September 2020. The PMP is the gold standard of project management certification. Outside of work, Cierra enjoys staying physically active through a volleyball league, the gym, and hiking.
Cierra continues to serve as an excellent example to peers, and we couldn’t be luckier to have her on our team. Thanks for all you do, Cierra!
