The USAF Awards Chenega Systems with the Robins Software Factory Contract

Chenega Systems (CS) has been awarded a Base Plus 3 Option Year contract totaling 5.8 million dollars in order to support the development and management of the Robins Software Factory in Macon, Georgia, for the United States Air Force.

Chenega Systems will supply the infrastructure, equipment, supplies, and management services necessary to provide the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) with a turnkey software environment services solution to enable Agile and Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) software development. CS will also provide all management services, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to operate and manage a software environment for up to 50 people (estimated ~6700 sq. ft. space).

The goal is to create an environment where new and existing Air Force software workloads are unencumbered by infrastructure, tool limitations, and restrictive communication networks. Personnel utilizing the software environment will modernize current and future applications by taking advantage of Cloud development techniques, leveraging Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service(PaaS), and more importantly, the establishment of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines that will produce working software rapidly on a frequent cadence.

Chenega Systems (CS) provides federal agencies empowered solutions in Cybersecurity, Data Visualization, Intelligence, Staff Services, Information Technology (IT), Training & eLearning, Exercise and Operations Support, and Communications & Electronics (C&E) Maintenance. Formed in 2017 to serve federal customers CONUS, CS’ Subject Matter Experts possess decades of experience working in the federal marketplace and the data visualization environment.
