[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Venturi is proud to be a new Progress Partner for the Huntsville Regional Economic Growth Initiative (HREGI), a main source of financial support for the economic development in the Huntsville Regional area and a plan for success by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce. The County Chamber of Commerce has more than 2,100 members representing 400,000 employees, all working together to ensure that the Huntsville and Northern Alabama area are the best areas to grow in.
The purpose of HREGI is to establish Huntsville/Madison County as a stronger and more visible community in the national competition for economic growth. As a result of the initiatives that HREGI has taken, Huntsville has become one of the fastest-growing metro areas in the south at a rate that is quickly outgrowing the state of Alabama.
Venturi, founded in 2006, has been a long-standing member of the business community in Huntsville, and their new Progress Partner sponsorship allows Venturi to invest in the robust future of the area.
Each month, HREGI distributes a magazine called “Initiative’s,” whose overarching vision is for the community to become a primary center of technology in the south and the nation, competing as a leading economic growth center in the southeast.
John Jordan, Venturi President, was recently featured in the Initiative’s April issue. In his spotlight, John talks about Huntsville’s immense effect in helping Venturi grow into a powerhouse. The area is known for its military, space, telecommunications, biotechnology, and diversified manufacturing specialties, which all combine to line up with the Venturi mission and capabilities. Thanks to the Chamber of Commerce, Huntsville has generated improved living standards through expanded education and entertainment options and has produced an increasingly diversified workforce. These building blocks are essential for Venturi to attract, develop, and retain a successful team, a critical aspect for Venturi’s motto is, “Our Strength is Our People.”
