Spotlight on CTI: CBP ILDS (Part 2 of 4), Albuquerque Integrated Maintenance Facility

The most visible work of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Integrated Logistics Division (ILD) Support Contract takes place in Lorton, VA, but a major portion of Chenega Technical Innovation’s (CTI) warehouse and maintenance activities take place at CBP’s Integrated Maintenance Facility (IMF) in Albuquerque, NM; often referred to simply as ABQ.

The ABQ team, led by Clyde Cordova and Anthony Martinez are a key logistics component for CBP enablement, receiving and distributing equipment such as camera equipment, sensors, mounting devices, and related consumables to CBP Ports and operations all over the nation. The ABQ team is also responsible for the maintenance of much of the equipment and has a sizable staff of technicians to keep equipment working in harsh border environments.

The ABQ staff always meets the mission by working together to ensure their goals are executed with the highest degree of quality. ABQ is considered by CBP as “mission-critical” to CBP’s mission of protecting our borders, Ports of Entry, and international mail ports. ABQ is also an integral part of the success and longevity of Chenega’s complex CBP ILD Support contract.
